Big risk for the Mercedes driver in the afternoon free practice
The close duel between Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton was one of the hottest moments of the last free practice session valid for the Singapore Grand Prix, the fifteenth round of this 2018 Formula 1 world championship. In the first minutes of today's FP2, in fact , the Englishman came close to colliding with the German at the entrance to turn 14, losing the apex and coming wide on the escape route.
A huge risk which, according to Matteo Bobbi, was caused by the lack of grip on the Marina Bay track. The track, in fact, is still very dirty, especially on the outside line, and this factor has led several drivers to make mistakes, including the Englishman from Mercedes.
