F1 | GP Singapore, Williams scores points with Lance Stroll

Williams closed the weekend of the Singapore Grand Prix, the fourteenth round of the 2017 Formula One World Championship, reaching the points zone with Lance Stroll who took eighth place. While Felipe Massa came eleventh.

"I think it was a fantastic race – commented Stroll – At the start it was raining, where we recovered positions by taking advantage of other people's mistakes. After that we ran a steady race. We remained cold. I made a mistake leaving the way for Vandoorne. We got four points, a fantastic result for the team".

"I'm disappointed with my race, it was a disaster – said Massa – I started with the wrong tyres (the Brazilian started with full wets, ed.), but at that moment it was not known what would happen. It was my mistake, I was slow on the track. I would have changed tires to Safety Car queens, but the team told me to stay on track, as the track would dry out. I'm happy for the team, as Lance managed to score points. It could have been even worse, given where we were starting from".
