F1 | Silverstone GP: Hulkenberg replaces Perez
The Mexican is out after testing positive for Covid-19
di Jessica Cortellazzi31 July 2020
Following Sergio Perez's positive test for Covid-19, Nico Hulkenberg will take his place for the Silverstone weekend.
Yesterday, after an initial test which had given inconclusive results, the Mexican tested positive in the second swab test and was therefore excluded from the Great Britain weekend.
In addition to Hulkenberg, there was the possibility of seeing Esteban Gutierrez behind the wheel again but in the end the German prevailed and thus returns for a brief appearance in Formula 1.
