F1 | GP Sakhir, Bottas ahead of everyone on the Outer Circuit: the pole position lap [VIDEO]

We bring you the lap that allowed Valtteri Bottas to conquer pole position in the Sakhir GP, the penultimate round of this 2020 Formula 1 world championship.

At the end of a hard-fought qualifying full of surprises, the Finn managed to win his fifth pole position of the season, beating the Mercedes of his teammate, George Russell, by just 22 thousandths. A minimal gap which confirmed the great balance between the two drivers of the world champion team.

Third position for Max Verstappen, fighting for pole position until the last attempt in Q3, followed by an extraordinary Charles Leclerc and Sergio Perez's Racing Point, who confirmed the excellent form shown in recent weeks. Sixth position for Daniil Kvyat, followed by Daniel Ricciardo, Carlos Sainz and Pierre Gasly.

Lance Stroll completes the top ten lineup. Albon and Vettel are back: the former, due to a less than perfect lap, was unable to go beyond 12th place, while the latter, who appeared to be struggling throughout the weekend, finished in 16th on Saturday ° position.
