Charles and Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel placed third and thirteenth respectively in the first free practice session of the Tuscan Grand Prix – Ferrari 1000 which takes place at the Mugello circuit. The two drivers worked following a slightly different programme, each completing 27 laps of the 5.245 meter Tuscan track.

Special livery. The SF1000s left the garage for the usual installation lap shortly after 11am, thus making the debut on the track of the special livery designed for this weekend which recalls the color of the 125 S, the first Ferrari ever built, in 1947. Charles in the first forty minutes he ran on Medium tyres, while Sebastian took to the track on Hard tyres. The Monegasque driver achieved a best time of 1'19”468, while his partner stopped the clocks at 1'21”333. On both SF1000s we then moved on to prepare for qualifying and on Soft tires Charles achieved a 1'18"186, third fastest, while Seb achieved 13th place in 1'19"267.

Plan. At 15pm the cars will return to the track for 90 minutes in the afternoon, while tomorrow at 12pm the last hour will take place in preparation for the qualifying at 15pm. The Tuscan Grand Prix – Ferrari 1000 will start at 15.10pm on Sunday the 13th.
