F1 | GP Monaco, green light for the most glamorous weekend of the season [VIDEO]
Today the press conference, from tomorrow we start to get serious with free practice. All live on Sky Sport F1 HD
F1 GP Monaco – Everything is ready in Monte Carlo for the next Monaco Grand Prix, the sixth round of the 2023 Formula 1 world championship. After the forced break in Imola caused by the flood that hit Emili Romagna seven days ago, teams and drivers are ready to return to compete in probably the most glamorous weekend of the championship, where the feeling with the car and the circuit will play a key role in drawing up the final classification of the weekend.
Number one favorite is clearly Max Verstappen, especially after a first part of the season spent as an absolute protagonist, but also pay attention to teammate Sergio Perez - winner last year - and home idol Charles Leclerc, eager to break down a "negative" taboo ” who has been chasing him in Monaco since he made his debut in a single-seater. Focus also on Mercedes, given that George Russell and Lewis Hamilton will take to the track with a W14 with a profoundly revised design.
The weekend programme, we remind you, includes two one-hour free practice sessions on Friday (13.30pm – 17.00pm) and FP3 on Saturday morning (12.30pm). These 60 minutes of work on the track will be the last opportunity for teams and drivers to work on the set-ups in view of qualifying, scheduled for the same day at 16.00pm. Green light on Sunday afternoon at 15.00 pm. The race can be followed live on Sky Sport F1 HD and deferred on TV8.
