We report Charles Leclerc's accident during the second free practice session valid for the Made in Italy and Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, the second round of the 2021 Formula 1 World Championship.

During the classic afternoon race simulation, the Monegasque made a small mistake when exiting the Rivazza, ending up impacting the external barriers. The collision caused the breaking of the right front suspension and the nose cone, as well as obviously ending the session early.

Despite this inconvenience, the standard bearer of the Red team promoted the behavior of the SF21 with flying colours, highlighting how the car has excellent potential in view of Saturday. Leclerc, we remember, finished today's free practice in fifth position, around eight tenths from Bottas' lead.

See you tomorrow, 11.00 am on Sky Sport F1 HD, for the live coverage of the third free practice from Imola. Teams and drivers will have an hour available to best prepare for the qualifying which will start at 14.00 pm.
