Interviewed by Federica Masolin at the end of this morning's race, Maurizio Arrivabene commented on the result obtained by Ferrari in the last Japanese Grand Prix, the seventeenth round of this 2018 Formula 1 world championship, underlining how the team responded with coolness and clarity to the big tactical mistake made during yesterday's qualifying.

According to the Red Team's Team Principal, in fact, the pace shown today was absolutely satisfactory, so much so that Sebastian Vettel managed to set the fastest lap of the race, and without the clashes with Max Verstappen, who then finished third under the sacked flag, the standard bearers of the Scuderia di Maranello could have fought for the podium without major problems.

Vettel, let's remember, will arrive in Austin 67 points behind and will have to protect himself from Lewis Hamilton's first match point (the Englishman only needs one success to become world champion for the fifth time. Ed.).
