F1 | French GP: the start and the first lap of the race in Le Castellet [VIDEO]

We bring you the start and the first lap of the last French Grand Prix, the seventh round of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship. At the end of a hard-fought race full of surprises, Max Verstappen managed to make up for his disappointing retirement in Baku, winning the third victory of the season ahead of Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton. Despite a two-stop strategy, against his rival's single stop, the Dutchman managed to leave the English driver behind, scoring important points for the constructors' championship.

Third place for the other Red Bull driver, Sergio Perez, followed by a Valtteri Bottas who was controversial with the team and the Englishman from McLaren, Lando Norris. Sixth, seventh and eighth place for Daniel Ricciardo, Pierre Gasly and Fernando Alonso. Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll complete the top ten rankings.

Appointment in just seven days, in Austria, for the Styrian Grand Prix, ninth round of this 2021 Formula 1 world championship. Due to the cancellation of the Canadian and Turkish GPs, teams and drivers will remain at Red Bull for two weeks for a " double-leader” (the Austrian GP is scheduled seven days later).
