F1 | GP Eifel, Leclerc and Vettel in chorus: "It didn't go as we imagined" [VIDEO]
The evaluations of the Ferrari drivers at the end of the Eifel GP
Interviewed by Mara Sangiorgio at the end of the last Eifel Grand Prix, the 11th round of this 2020 Formula 1 world championship, Charles Leclerc e Sebastian Vettel they were not satisfied with the behavior of the SF1000 in the race, underlining how the soft tires did not offer the same performance in terms of pace as in FP3 on Saturday morning.
Due to the low temperatures and the set-up, the Red team struggled quite a bit in the first part of the race, an aspect that forced the two Scuderia drivers to race on the defensive. A situation at the limit which forced the wall to almost completely reverse the strategy, especially with Charles Leclerc's car, which appeared to be in great difficulty in the direct comparison not only with the Renault of Ricciardo, but also with the McLarens.
Leclerc, we remember, finished the Eifel Grand Prix in seventh position, while Vettel was unable to go beyond 11th place, just a whisker away from the points zone occupied by Giovinazzi. Appointment in 15 days, in Portimao, for the Portuguese Grand Prix.
