F1 | GP China, Daniel Ricciardo awarded with "Driver of the Day"

The Chinese race in Shanghai, which took place this morning, saw a great Daniel Ricciardo prevail and deservedly rewarded with the driver of the day.

The Australian, who started the race from the third row next to teammate Max Verstappen, was the author of an excellent second stint of the race opting for a two-stop strategy, also favored by the entry of the Safety Car onto the track .

Ricciardo made several overtakes on fresh soft tyres, the last of which on Valtteri Bottas' Mercedes which earned him the lead in the Chinese GP, which he maintained until the checkered flag.
