F1 | Toro Rosso, Sainz and Kvyat on Montreal: “Beautiful city, challenging circuit”

Toro Rosso is ready to face the Canadian Grand Prix, which will take place on the semi-permanent track in Montreal this weekend.

As usual, the Faenza team, which scored points with only Carlos Sainz's single-seater in the Monte Carlo event, gave space to the thoughts of its drivers who expressed their point of view on the Canadian event and on the city of Montreal.

"Montreal is one of my favorite cities, the entrance to the paddock is really special – underlined Sainz – To enter you cross the lake by entering from a floating bridge. Among my favorite parts of the track are turns 4 and 5, as well as turns 6 and 7. The Wall of Champions is a further challenge, even if I've crashed into it in the past".

Daniil Kvyat also expresses a positive opinion on the city of Montreal: “It is one of the most beautiful cities we visit during the season, there are many streets for walking and shopping. The track is one of a kind, there are various chicanes and long straights, it is a nice place to race because there are many overtaking opportunities. It's never easy to do a good lap, you have to build the pace throughout the weekend".
