F1 | GP Canada, Arrivabene: “Victory the result of an excellent car and Vettel's great driving”

Ferrari bids farewell to Montreal, home of the Canadian Grand Prix, seventh round of the 2018 Formula One World Championship, with Sebastian Vettel taking victory and Kimi Raikkonen taking sixth place.

Commenting on the outcome of the Canadian race, Maurizio Arrivabene, Cavallino team principal, declared: “Today's victory is undoubtedly due to an excellent car and Seb's great driving. The team, both on the track and in Maranello, worked hard and methodically, preparing a single-seater which already proved to be very fast from qualifying on Saturday. The tires responded very well to the strategies studied. It's a shame about Kimi's mistake in qualifying which compromised his race a bit. The championship is still very long and we must continue to give our best. I take this opportunity to thank our fans and our customers, who never fail to give us their support, our sponsors and technical partners, in particular Shell, who support us in the development".
