Through a press release appearing on the official website of the racetrack, the organizers of the Bahrain Grand Prix have confirmed the "open doors" for the race which will be held on March 26th on the Sakhir track, specifying however that the sale of tickets will be reserved for all people who have received both doses of the vaccine against the COVID-19.

To access the Bahrain facility you will need to present a green badge on the app BeAware Bahrain, which will be "granted" only after demonstrating that they have received the second dose of the vaccine at least two weeks ago. People who have recovered from Covid19 for at least 15 days will also be able to access the racetrack.

“In November and December last year we had the pleasure of hosting our healthcare heroes as spectators,” said the CEO of Sakhir International Circuit, Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa. “This time we are pleased to be open to a larger group of fans. I am grateful for the support received from the government and I thank the national task force and the ministry of health for the fight against coronavirus."
