Qualifying for the Austrian Grand Prix proved to be even more difficult than expected for Scuderia Ferrari: Charles Leclerc was able to get the seventh time, while Sebastian Vettel will position itself in eleventh position on the starting grid for the race which will start tomorrow at 15.10pm CET.

Q2. Both SF1000s have passed the first stage of qualification, but in the second part the extremely close times between the various cars meant that Sebastian Vettel remained excluded from the top ten positions which give the right to compete for the top ten places on the grid. The German achieved a time of 1'04”206 which earned him eleventh place.

Q3. In the decisive phase of qualifying Charles made his first attempt on used soft tires obtaining a time of 1'04”539. The Monegasque then returned to the pits to mount Soft's only new train with which he achieved a 1'03”923 which earned him the seventh place finish.
