F1 | GP Austria, starting procedure reduced from 40 to 30 minutes

The cars will line up regularly; the hypothesis of a reconnaissance lap directly from the pit lane was discarded

New news regarding the starting procedures starting from the Austrian GP
F1 | GP Austria, starting procedure reduced from 40 to 30 minutes

Contrary to the rumors of recent days, the starting procedure and the grid line-up will remain almost intact, only with some small changes due to the restrictions and new protocols imposed by Formula 1 and the FIA. Initially it was thought that the drivers would have to start from the pit lane all together, effectively carrying out the reconnaissance lap and then lining up for the start, but this will not be the case: the procedure will remain the usual one, except that the pit lane will be open 30 minutes before of the start and no longer 40, as up until a few years ago. Only 40 staff members will be admitted for each team, which at the three-minute signal from the start will have to be only 16, therefore 8 per car. Among other things, the Red Bull Ring has been "sealed" since yesterday, with all anti-Covid safety measures already activated.
