The eagerly awaited Myworld Austrian Grand Prix will start at 18.00 pm on Sunday, deferred.
A week after the Pirelli Grand Prix of France, the Formula 1 circus moves to Austria for the 9th round of the season out of the 21 scheduled. After Lewis Hamilton's victory, the sixth of the season (the fourth in a row), which allowed the English driver to consolidate his leadership in the drivers' standings with 187 points, 36 more than teammate Valtteri Bottas, next weekend the appointment is on the Red Bull Ring circuit, in Spielberg, Styria, with the Myworld Austrian Grand Prix, deferred and free-to-air only on TV8.
Saturday 29 June, at 17.00 pm, the qualifying paddock with the declarations of the experts a few moments before the qualifying starts, delayed, at 18.00 pm, which assigns the positions on the starting grid. Sunday 30 June, at 16.30 pm, the unpublished episode of "Legend Circuits", which analyzes the characteristics and curiosities of the Austrian track.
Afterwards, at 17.00 pm, the adrenaline rises with the race paddock to breathe, directly from the starting grid, the pre-race atmosphere with the final statements of the drivers and professionals before the green light. At 18.00 pm, on a delayed basis, the eagerly awaited Myworld Austrian Grand Prix will begin. After the checkered flag, at 19.30 pm, the awards ceremony on the podium with the national anthems and, at 19.45 pm, the post-race paddock with live interviews with the protagonists of the race and the team principals of the most established teams.
The Myworld Austrian Grand Prix, whose first edition was held in 1970, includes 71 laps (each 4,318 km) for a total distance of 306,452 km. The lap record was set in 2018 by Kimi Raikkonen on Ferrari with a time of 1'06''957. Here last year Max Verstappen, at the wheel of Red Bull, prevailed ahead of the two Ferraris of Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel.
