F1 | Glock advises Mick Schumacher: "He shouldn't rush things"

Despite the numerous ups and downs of this season, Timo Glock has no doubts about the talent of Mick Schumacher, a talent from Prema and the Ferrari Driver Academy.

In a chat granted to Denial Focus, the former Jordan and Toyota driver commented on the growth path of Michael Schumacher's son, underlining how Mick must not hurry, especially as regards Formula 1. A leap too premature , in fact, would end up not only ruining his present, but also his future.

“I support Mick Schumacher and I am of the opinion that he should not rush the growth process that began this year,” said Timo Glock. “He has to give himself time, even if in his first tests in Formula 1 he showed that he is up to speed with the others.

On his performances in Formula 2 he instead stated: “In the lower classes a lot depends on the team. Furthermore, everyone watches him closely and this creates a difficulty, especially if we consider his young age. That name is a burden."
