A week after the French Grand Prix it is already time to get back on track for the ninth round of the season. After Lewis Hamilton's victory, the third of the season after those in Azerbaijan and Spain, which allowed the English driver to once again climb to the top of the drivers' standings with 145 points, 14 more than Sebastian Vettel, the appointment next weekend is on the Red Bull Ring circuit, in Spielberg, Styria, with the Austrian Grand Prix, deferred and free-to-air only on TV8 (button 8 on the remote control).

On Sunday 1st July, TV8's programming dedicated to four wheels begins at 20.30pm with "Alonso 300", the special, broadcast for the first time on free-to-air television on TV8, created on the occasion of the Spanish driver's 300th Formula 1 Grand Prix. After the checkered flag, at 23.30pm, there will finally be time for in-depth interviews with the drivers, team managers and experts to delve deeper and comment on the dynamics of the race.

The Austrian Grand Prix, whose first edition was held in 1970, includes 71 laps (each 4,318 km) for a total distance of 306,452 km. The lap record was set last year by Lewis Hamilton in a Mercedes with the time of 1'07''411. Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes) won here last year, starting from pole position, ahead of Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull).
