F1 | Giovinazzi excited for Sakhir: “I feel ready”

After the excellent three days of testing in Bahrain, Antonio Giovinazzi he can't wait to get on track for the next one Bahrain Grand Prix, the inaugural event of the 2021 Formula 1 World Championship.

Interviewed by the team's official website, the Italian driver outlined the objectives for the first weekend of the season, highlighting how the target is the top 10. Like last year, Giovinazzi intends to start the season on the right foot, so as to exploit the momentum of the points zone for the first part of this championship.

“I'm really excited about this new season Alfa Romeo“, declared the pilot Martina Franca. “It's my third year in formula 1 and I can't wait to experience the sensations of a race weekend again. I'm not making any predictions about where we will be against our rivals, but I am confident that we can have a good season."

“There's a really good spirit within the team, people feel positive and they all walk with their heads held high,” he continued. “We approach the race with the right mentality. We all know how crucial the start of the new championship is: last year we managed to score points in the first race and they proved fundamental in the championship tally. The objective will therefore be to start again on the right foot."
