F1 | Gasly aims to confirm his place in the top ten also in Zandvoort

Confirmation objective for Pierre Gasly in the next Dutch Grand Prix, 15th round of the 2022 Formula 1 world championship. After the splendid comeback in Spa, which allowed him to bring his AT03 into the points, the Frenchman wants to confirm himself in the points at the top of the rankings, so as to finally give a turn to a season full of ups and downs, especially in terms of performance.

“Getting back to scoring points is good for the team's morale, but I had to work hard to get them since, due to a last minute problem, my hundredth Grand Prix started from the pitlane,” said the Frenchman from AlphaTauri. “Being able to score points from there was fantastic.”

“There is still a lot of performance to get out of the car and this is what we will work on during Friday, hoping for problem-free sessions,” he continued. “Last year, apart from Baku, Zandvoort was my best weekend: I qualified fourth and crossed the finish line in the same position, ahead of both Ferraris. It was a fantastic Grand Prix on a really complicated track, I was very happy with that result."

“This year's cars are very different, but I hope to get another good placing thanks to everything we learned from last season's race. It would be nice to score points again and arrive at Monza with a positive result." concluded the transalpine.
