Still no news regarding the future of Sergey Sirotkin, the Russian driver who lost his seat in Williams to the detriment of Robert Kubica. Despite the rumors about a possible arrival at Ferrari as a development driver, in fact, the SMP standard-bearer has not yet received any information regarding his future, given that the entire situation will only be resolved with the arrival of the new year. A frantic wait that is slowing down the programs for 2019.

Here are the words of the Russian standard bearer: “We are trying to gather all the options, but I don't think there will be any further details in the next two weeks. In the best case scenario we will have something concrete after the New Year holidays."

On the parenthesis in Williams he added: “It was definitely a difficult experience, but all these difficulties have transformed me into a better driver. I have a clear understanding that, for objective reasons, I have failed to show everything I could have shown. At the same time, however, I believe that my time in Formula 1 is not over."
