F1 | Force India, Perez: “We can be fast”

The Mexican driver declared that the Indian team will also be able to have its say in Hungary, where the last GP before the summer break will take place on Sunday.

Force India he concluded a very competitive first part of the season, always confirming himself at every grand prix and defending fourth position in the championship:

“This first part went by quickly -commented Sergio Perez- it seems like yesterday we were racing in Melbourne and instead we are already at the summer break. It was a very satisfying first part, I'm proud of my team and the work we did to improve the car. I have high hopes for the rest of the championship and I think we have the potential to achieve good results.".

Although thehungaroring is not one of the favorite tracks for Force India, the Mexican thinks that they will still manage to have a good race. The important point will be the qualification:

“I think we can be fast in Budapest. We have always been competitive on every track this year, so we shouldn't be worried. I like the structure of the circuit and even if it's narrow, when you find the right rhythm you have fun riding. It's not easy to overtake so you have to give everything in qualifying, otherwise it will be a difficult race. We are all ready for the holidays and I think it is important to close with a good result before returning to racing.".
