F1 | Force India, Perez: “In Hungary it will be important to have a car with a lot of downforce”

Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon illustrated on the official website of Force India the Hungarian Grand Prix, twelfth stage of the 2018 Formula 1 World Championship.

Drivers' ranking position: 10th (30 points)
Last race placement: 7 °
“You always want to do well in the last race before the holidays. As a driver, you only remember the last race and therefore you want to go on holiday with good memories. Getting a good result helps you have a better holiday. I like the Hungaroring, it's a circuit with a lot of corners: it's a big challenge to make a clean lap, especially in qualifying. The races can get pretty interesting too. It's a narrow and twisty track, yet it offers some overtaking opportunities. The key to a good race in Budapest is to have a car with a lot of downforce that isn't too hard on the tyres, as it should be very hot there. It's been a very hectic first part of the season, especially with five races in the last six weeks: I can't wait for the break to arrive.".

ESTEBAN OCON
Drivers' ranking position: 11th (29 points)
Last race placement: 8 °
“I want to go on holiday to the fullest. I'm happy that the last race before the break will be held on one of my favorite circuits: Budapest is one of the races I like the most, it's always a positive weekend for me. I fell in love with the circuit the first time I drove it. The track is quite narrow, but also very fast. There are very rapid changes in direction and corners follow one another without the possibility of catching your breath. That's what I really like: you have to always push and make the best of the sequence of turns. If you make a mistake, you pay for it in the following corners”.
