F1 | Force India, Ocon: “I'm not fully satisfied”

The Indian team concluded the last qualifying of the year with both drivers in the top 10: Sergio Perez will start eighth, followed by his teammate.

These are the declarations of Sergio Perez:

“I'm quite happy with our result today although I'm not happy about losing seventh place by just a tenth. We managed to get through Q1 with just one lap but Q2 was quite complicated. Hulkenberg compromised my warm-up lap, there was no need and he ruined the lap for both of us. Luckily, he didn't influence my final result and we managed to get through to Q3. In the final part of qualifying, my first lap wasn't good, so I had to make a second attempt. All in all, it was a good result. The race should be interesting because half of the drivers on the grid are very close. It will be important to overtake Hulkenberg at the start of the first lap because overtaking here can be a challenge. If we don't succeed, I'm sure we will find another strategy anyway. The weather will play an important role, because it becomes dark, the air and the track cool down and there is strong wind in several corners. It will be a good challenge but we are in a good position and I am determined to finish the season in the best possible way.".

These are the declarations of Esteban Ocon:

“I'm not completely satisfied with our session because I think we could have qualified higher. I think seventh time was possible but the traffic didn't help us today and we couldn't optimize some things. Qualifying here is always difficult with the high temperatures dropping and you have to work hard on the tyres. I'm disappointed that today we didn't show the right pace of our car but it's only Saturday, the race is what counts. I want to make a good start, take a step forward and finish the season with a great result.".
