F1 | Force India, Ocon: “My race lasted only three corners”

Unlucky race for the Indian team with both drivers forced to retire. The French driver was very disappointed as he was unable to give a good result to the many fans present to support him. These are their statements:

Esteban Ocon: “A truly disappointing day. I made a good start and came alongside Romain at the end of the straight but there was contact. I was on the edge of the track but it passed and hit me. This caused a lot of damage to my car and then Pierre lost control while braking and hit me from behind; this definitively closed my race. I feel very sad because I was waiting for a long time to be able to race in front of my people, and it only lasted three corners. The fans were incredible all weekend and I just have to thank them for all the energy they gave me.".

Sergio Perez: “It's disappointing to finish the race like this. We had a sudden drop in water pressure and were forced to retreat. It's a shame because we had the opportunity to get a good number of points and instead we leave empty-handed. I made a good start and stayed away from accidents. We gave everything to finish with a good result but luck was not on our side this weekend. In Austria we will have some updates and we hope they will make us more competitive for the next races".
