The goal of Force India for these last seven races of 2017 it is clear: lock down the fourth place in the constructors' championship. The Indian team, at the moment, can count on a 58 point advantage over the Williams, fifth in the standings with 55 points. Be the first team after the magic trio Mercedes, Ferrari e Red Bull, he is proud Vijay Mallya, owner of Force India: “It is very positive for our team to arrive at the Singapore Grand Prix and be in fourth place in the constructors' championship. The Monza test allowed us to score points with both drivers for the tenth time this season. The whole team is making a huge effort”.
These last stages of the season will also be useful for the development of next year's car: “With seven races to go, the season is coming to a close and we just need to continue doing everything we've been doing all year. It's about being constant, collect the points and seize the opportunities that come our way" – said Mallya. "We will continue to develop the VJM10 and this will also bring benefits to the 2018 car. We are still bringing new parts and both cars will have some new features for this weekend in Singapore.".
