"We have entered the summer break with encouraging signs", underlined the CEO of Maranello
Stay united to continue to progress the performance of the single-seater. This, in a nutshell, is the thought expressed by Benedetto Vigna in the Ferrari conference call held on the profits for the second quarter of 2024. The Maranello CEO underlined how the team closed the first part of the season with two successes, obtained respectively by Carlos Sainz in Australia and by Charles Leclerc in Monte Carlo, effectively doubling the points in the Constructors' Championship obtained in 2023.
“Scuderia Ferrari HP faced the 2024 Formula 1 season with the aim of always fighting for the top – declared Vigna – We entered the summer break with encouraging signs. We got two wins compared to zero last year and 50% more points scored per game compared to last year."
The Cavallino CEO, completing the point on Formula 1, added: "The team remains focused and united, pushing harder to continue improving the performance of the single-seater."
