F1 | Ferrari, Vettel: “An exciting qualifying”

Sebastian Vettel scored his hundredth career front row and narrowly missed out on pole position, arriving just 12 thousandths off the time set by Valtteri Bottas. Tomorrow's race will be very demanding and a good start can make the difference:

“Congratulations to Valtteri, it was an exciting qualifying, we were very close. I thought I had something more but I lost ground at high speed on the last attempt but I was already behind when I got to the point where I made the mistake, so I did two decent laps, it was a matter of hundredths. Overall I'm happy, for tomorrow I hope for a good start to then have a good race. We will all start with the mediums, no one will have an advantage in that, the race will be long we will certainly have to think about many things, the first lap will be very demanding".
