Interviewed by journalists present today in Sochi in the Ferrari motorhome, Sebastian Vettel he returned to talk about the victory achieved on Sunday in Singapore on the city track of Marina Bay.
An important triumph for the German who thus broke the drought of victories that had lasted for over a year, allowing Ferrari to achieve the third highest step of the consecutive podium and a double that had been missing since the 2017 season.
"I think the result we achieved was very gratifying for the whole team, because we arrived on a track that on paper didn't see us as favourites. – admitted Vettel -. For me, clearly, after the negative race in Monza, it was very positive. Now we need to focus on this race and the next ones, continuing to refine our knowledge of the car and working methods".
In Singapore, the aerodynamic innovations fitted to the SF90 gave positive feedback: "The package worked in the best possible way, but an excellent job was also done as a team, in working together since Friday's free practice – underlined the four-time world champion -. The fruits of Friday and Saturday morning were then seen in qualifying and the race, where we managed to maximize the car's potential".
