F1 | Ferrari, Vettel promotes high-load single-seaters: "They are spectacular"

In conjunction with the officialization of the new sporting regulations, which will come into force starting from the 2021 season, Ross Brawn has pointed the finger at the decision to have introduced faster single-seaters with greater downforce from 2017.

A decision which, according to the current sporting director of the Circus, was to the detriment of overtaking and the spectacle on the track.

He also expressed his point of view on the subject Sebastian Vettel, with the Ferrari German who does not agree with the analysis made by Brawn.

"I think the cars are more spectacular since 2017 – admitted the four-time world champion -. Now we know what these machines can do, before they were quite slow. Obviously we had very little drug, and it's fantastic on the straight. Not I think it was the wrong direction".

For Seb, however, the negative aspects are different: “From my point of view the mistakes were made on the weight of the single-seaters, which is obviously linked in some way to some safety measures, and on the power units – the German underlined –I think this is the biggest difference comparing the current era versus Formula One 10/20 years or even earlier".
