F1 | Ferrari, Vettel: “Baku? The lowest point of the season”

Sebastian Vettel has no doubts. Analyzing his season, the German from Ferrari recognized that the worst episode in which he was a protagonist was the (infamous) spin on Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes number 44, which was caused under the Safety Car, which occurred during the Grand Prix of Azerbaijan held on the city track of Baku on June 25th, and punished by the commissioners with a 10 second penalty.

"The low point was post Baku, – Vettel told Autosport – Other negative races were Singapore and Japan. It wasn't easy to put what happened that night in Singapore behind us, but in the end we had to look forward".

Among the five victories achieved in 2017, the Cavallino standard-bearer favors one in particular: “Winning in Monaco is always special, given that Ferrari has been missing for some time. I have excellent memories of that match where we achieved a double. We have had races where we achieved more than we deserved and in others the opposite happened. This is part of the game".

Looking ahead, Vettel said: “It is essential for us to understand our weaknesses and strengths".
