F1 | Ferrari, Vettel: “I would have liked to win”

Sebastian Vettel finished the United States Grand Prix in second place. However, thanks to the victory achieved by Lewis Hamilton in Austin, the German fell 66 points behind the Englishman with three races to go until the end of the season.

Analyzing his race, Vettel said: “My start was good today. I think I started well in Japan too, but we didn't have any power there, so it's good that we managed to make everything work here. At the beginning I found a good pace, but after a couple of laps I had a lot of difficulty managing the tires, which were heating up too much. I'm a bit disappointed, because we didn't manage to win and I would have liked to have done so. We are on the right path, but all the bad things that have happened to us happened not because of bad luck or anyone else; I believe it is our responsibility and we must admit it. Then there were races where we were stronger and we didn't even race, which is even worse. There are positive aspects, but this is not the result we wanted and for this reason today was not an ideal day".
