F1 | Ferrari, Vettel: “I could have done better, but no excuses”

Sebastian Vettel did not go beyond the fourth fastest time in qualifying for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, which took place this afternoon on the city track of Baku.

The German, however, was affected by a hydraulic problem during third free practice, which forced the mechanics to work overtime to replace the current power unit with a previous one (unit 1, with which Vettel started the season and which he already had over 3.000 kilometers travelled) for the start of qualifying.

A sudden problem that clearly affected the performance of Vettel's number five SF70-H, which came more than 1" from the poleman Lewis Hamilton.

Despite the problems encountered, the German does not look for alibis: “It's a good result, even if I'm not entirely satisfied. I could have done better. I was alone on the track, I had no wake but I don't want to make excuses. The problem we had this morning didn't work in our favor. I'm not worried about the gap seen today. Tomorrow we can play our cards, yesterday we were fast".
