F1 | Ferrari, a good Friday in Sochi

Sochi 28 March – Another day of work for Seb and Kimi, who at the end of Friday's free practice ended up with the first and second fastest times. But in fact, it's only Friday, and Seb feels that there is still work to do: “CI think we've made some improvements, so I have my reasons to be happy but not completely. We had a difficult start this morning and it took us a while to find the speed. I'm sure we can do more. I think this is a circuit where a certain amount of confidence is necessary. There are many curves that appear the same on paper, similar on the car, but then it is difficult to get everything right. I wish they would plant more trees near the track so we have more reference points! Instead it is complicated and for this reason we need to find the right rhythm. This morning I had some difficulties but then we understood what we needed. We always fight for pole position, obviously, but on paper this is a track suitable for Mercedes. Today they didn't do everything they could and didn't bring out their full potential. We will see".

For his part, Kimi is quite satisfied: “It was a good Friday, everything went according to plan and we had no problems. I'm happy with the behavior of the car, I immediately had a good feeling; and when things go like this it's always more fun. So far so good, it's only Friday and we don't know what the others felt, but I'm happy with this day. We will try to do our best tomorrow and that will be the starting point".
