F1 | Ferrari on the start of the season: “The first results are encouraging”

The start of the season has undoubtedly been positive for Ferrari, always a protagonist and always fighting for victory in the four races held so far. The Maranello team left its mark, reaching pole position on three different occasions, achieving two successes with Sebastian Vettel in the first two rounds of the season and finishing on the podium with Kimi Raikkonen in China and Azerbaijan. The potential shown so far is of a high level and the performance of the SF71H is improving race after race, also thanks to the staff's commitment to finding the ideal set-up.

The great work done during the winter has so far paid off: the Red has proven to be the most competitive car, regardless of the environmental conditions and the type of track, both in qualifying and in the race. All this can certainly be a source of satisfaction for the men from Maranello, even if the season is still long. During the shareholders' meeting, Ferrari commented on the start of the season as follows: "Scuderia Ferrari has worked hard to prepare for the 2018 season and the first results are encouraging" - we read in the official press release on the quarterly accounts released today -. “Five podiums in the first four competitions, with two races won by Sebastian Vettel so far.”
