Qualifying for the Made in Italy and Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix saw Scuderia Ferrari Mission Winnow substantially confirm the values ​​expressed in Bahrain by the SF21, despite the enormous differences in track and temperatures with the Sakhir track. Saturday at the Enzo and Dino Ferrari Autodromo also confirmed how close the values ​​on the field are within the group fighting behind the two top teams.

Balance. Charles Leclerc confirmed himself as extraordinary on the flying lap. The Monegasque achieved, just like in Bahrain, the fourth best time, just 329 thousandths from pole position - five months ago the gap in Imola was more than a second -, while Carlos was excluded from the final phase by just 61 thousandths in a very balanced Q2 and will therefore have to start from eleventh position. The positive aspect of not being able to stay in the top ten is that the Spaniard will have free choice regarding the tire compound with which to start the Grand Prix. This will allow the team to evaluate all the strategic options available to try to obtain the best possible result on a circuit where overtaking is traditionally quite difficult.
