"It's a unique track without equal in the world," said the Monegasque
Il Azerbaijan Grand Prix, where the fourth race of the 2019 Formula One World Championship will take place next Sunday, evokes sweet memories in the minds of Charles Leclerc. Last year, the Monegasque was the protagonist of a great race on the streets of Baku, finishing in sixth place. A result which, in fact, changed the inertia of the CL16 season which from then on managed to permanently occupy the Top Ten.
Leclerc, analyzing the Baku track, declared: “Azerbaijan is one of my favorite circuits, I love it and have always done very well here having achieved success and a podium in Formula 2 and my first points in Formula 1 last year".
He then added: "I really like the route, especially the part of the ancient castle with that series of tight curves. It is truly a unique track without equal in the world. The rule is quite simple: never lose concentration, because at the first mistake you find yourself against the wall. The Baku track is challenging, but I'm looking forward to it".
