Charles Leclerc was also among the protagonists of Spielberg's press conference on Thursday, which opened the weekend of the Austrian Grand Prix, the opening race of the World Championship.

The Monegasque, in all honesty, underlined how Ferrari is still behind in terms of performance compared to Mercedes and Red Bull. Honest and sincere words from Charles which, however, stir the hearts of the Maranello fans quite a bit on the eve of the first race of the new season.

"It's clear we're not where we wanted to be after the preseason – said Leclerc -. I think it will be a very challenging year for us, it certainly won't be easy. TOWe still have some doubts and we have to wait for qualifying on Saturday, but I'm 99% sure that we will suffer more than last year".

Leclerc also confirmed that Ferrari will bring the updates only to the Hungaroring event: “We used the little time we had. But right now we are these. We tried to chart a new direction for Budapest, but there wasn't enough time to bring it here".
