Charles Leclerc starts from fourth position, Carlos from fifth. Temperatures: air 27°; 36° asphalt.

Street. When the traffic lights went out, Charles held fourth place, while Carlos battled with the two Mclarens, losing one to Daniel Ricciardo.

Lap 8. Carlos has to give up the position to Lando Norris for an overtake made beyond the limits of the track, but he immediately regains the position. Charles still fourth, 9 seconds behind Sergio Perez.

Lap 11. Sainz changes tires starting again in 2.2 with Hard tyre. Charles is third, Carlos ninth.

Lap 13. Leclerc also stops and starts again on Hard tires in 2.7, returning to fifth but easily overtaking Valtteri Bottas to return to fourth. Meanwhile, Carlos passes Sebastian Vettel and climbs to seventh position behind Ricciardo.

Lap 28. At mid-race Charles is fourth, 10.6 behind Perez, while Carlos is sixth, 1.6 behind Ricciardo.

Lap 30. Carlos stops for another train from Hard in 5.6 and rejoins eighth behind Bottas. Charles instead moved up to third when Perez stopped on lap 31.

Lap 32. Ricciardo and Norris stop, the former comes out ahead of Sainz, the latter behind. The Spaniard is seventh, 3.7 behind the Australian from McLaren.

Lap 33. Charles also stops for a new train from Hard and goes back behind Perez.

Lap 35. Bottas pits for his second stop and Carlos moves up to sixth, 2.4s behind Ricciardo.

Lap 43. Carlos has caught up with Ricciardo again and tries to attack. There is a slight contact between the two cars, overtaking is unsuccessful and there is small damage on the front wing of the SF21 number 55. The Spaniard has to push because Bottas is coming up behind him.

The final. With two laps to go Bottas overtakes Carlos who finishes seventh. Charles is fourth.
