Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc took second and ninth place in the third and final free practice session of the United States Grand Prix. The two Scuderia Ferrari Mission Winnow drivers ran only on Soft tires, covering a total of 33 laps, 16 with the Spaniard and 17 with the Monegasque.

Times. Sainz started by getting a 1'35”882, and with the second set of tires he dropped to 1'34”805, while Charles achieved 1'35”688 on the first attempt and was then unable to improve, also because the 1'35”343 recorded with new Soft tires was canceled due to exceeding track limits. Qualifying for the United States Grand Prix will begin at 16pm local time (23pm CET).
