F1 | Ferrari, Camilleri defends Binotto: "he has all my support, he will find a solution"

The fourth and fifth places in the Spanish Grand Prix, achieved respectively by Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc, demonstrated the technical shortcomings of the SF90 on a selective track like that of Montmelò.

From Barcelona, despite the performance below expectations, the CEO of Ferrari Louis Camilleri tried to defuse the tension: “It's time to close ranks – he declared to La Gazzetta dello Sport –. It's up to me to prevent panic from spreading. Our limits were already evident before this race and now they are even more so. We need to analyze the causes of our problems, then we can talk about solutions and times".

Speaking about Binotto he said: “He has my full support, he will find a solution”. Focusing on the next race, scheduled for Monte Carlo at the end of May, Camilleri added: “More tight, slow corners. A bit like here in the blessed third sector, our Achilles heel throughout the weekend. But now there are two days of important tests (scheduled tomorrow and Wednesday again at Montmelò, ed.) and we are confident that we can benefit quickly. I can't say when we will find a solution".
