F1 | Ferrari, Binotto: "The SF21 will still have some development, but from January we are focused on 2022"

Ferrari, in the first two season outings of the 2021 Formula One World Championship, performed well, obtaining an excellent placing in the points in both cases and showing encouraging performances. The SF21, which compared to the derelict SF1000 has improved aerodynamically but above all can count on a brand new power unit, will not be developed for long as Mattia Binotto declared.

As admitted by the Red team principal, the team has been working since January on next year's car conditioned by the regulation change.

"I think the 2021 car performs as we expected, so we have a good correlation with our data, which is great – declared Mattia Binotto, quoted by the RaceFans portal – Is it time to move on to 2022? We already changed our focus in January, so the team is already focused on next year. We will still have some development in 2021, but it is not our priority".
