F1 | Ferrari, Binotto: “The Canadian GP is not our last resort”

Once the Monte Carlo round is over, the Circus will be busy on the Montreal track in just over a week. Speaking about the Canadian GP, the Ferrari team principal Mattia binotto he doesn't believe that the appointment which will take place on the artificial island of Notre-Dame represents the last call for the Reds.

"Canada is not the last race of the season – said Binotto -. Race after race we have to improve, in Maranello we have some programs that we will need to address the problems we have seen in the last two races. I don't think there will be any surprise solution for Canada, the car is the one from Monte Carlo. It's clearly a different track, with different compounds and setups".

Binotto, completing his analysis, then added: “I think we will be in better shape than in Barcelona, but I think Mercedes still have the strongest car at the moment. They will start from the front but the gap will be narrower. If we have any opportunity we will be ready to exploit it".
