F1 | Ferrari, Binotto: “We must identify the problems quickly”

The Montmelò weekend highlighted the important performance gap between Mercedes and Ferrari, with the Red team not even managing to grab the lowest step of the podium conquered instead by Max Verstappen's Red Bull. Mattia Binotto, speaking about the problems affecting the SF90, hopes that the team can identify them and make the right corrections.

"The limitations we already had in the first races were also highlighted in the last weekend. It's hard to know how long it will take to solve them, but I think it's important to understand them and I'm sure we can do it quickly”, underlined the Ferrari team principal to the Formula One web portal.

Binotto, continuing with his discussion, then added: “The tires are difficult to manage and are a key factor in the performance of the car. The track temperature changed a lot between Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon. We must analyze the information we have to understand the behavior of our car".
