F1 | Ferrari, Arrivabene: “In the next races we will all be very close”

In home Ferrari the time has come to move on: despite the red debacle of Singapore allowed Lewis Hamilton to significantly increase in the drivers' standings (+28 on Sebastian Vettel), nothing is lost yet. Maurice Arrivabene, team principal of the Cavallino, in view of the last six events of the season, has sounded the charge and renewed the world championship hopes of the German driver: “The Singapore race was very disappointing, but it doesn't mean that the battle is over just because it has become difficult. Now comes Malaysia where I think we could do well, then Japan, a circuit with high downforce and we could all be close, also considering that the Red Bulls could play an important role there, it should be their best track until the end of the year”.

Concluding the examination of the circuits on the calendar, Arrivabene declared: “In Austin I think we will be okay, and Brazil will also be a place where Red Bull will be competitive. But Ferrari will also be particularly strong. I believe that in the next races we will all be very close, difficult to predict, especially when we go to Mexico where there will be the maximum demand for aerodynamic load due to the thin air which will generate less resistance".
