F1 | Ferrari, Arrivabene: “The team did a great job”

Ferrari leaves the trip to the Red Bull Ring with a double podium achieved by Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel, who finished second and third respectively behind the winner Max Verstappen.

Today's 33 points allowed the Red team to overtake Mercedes (forced to retire with both single-seaters, ed.) in the Constructors' World Championship: now the Cavallino leads the world championship with 10 points ahead of the Star.

The leader also changes in the drivers' standings, with Vettel ahead of Hamilton by just one point.

Analyzing the Austrian race, Maurizio Arrivabene, Ferrari team principal, declared: “The real news today is that there are six Ferrari engines in the top ten positions of the race. And beyond this, we are leading both the Drivers' and Constructors' world championships. Today's result is not ideal, but it is definitely useful. The team did a great job, at all levels, to make up for a difficult Saturday with a race in which the behavior of the car, perfect tire management, strategy choices and reliability made the difference. Next weekend, at Silverstone, looks challenging on paper, also because it is the home race of our main rivals; but we will face it with the usual humility and determination".
