F1 | Ferrari, Arrivabene: “Teamwork allowed us to close the season in second and third place in the Drivers' Championship”
"Today Kimi would have deserved a different result. Thanks to all those who supported us", underlined the Red team principal
La Ferrari leaves the 2018 Formula One World Championship with a podium finish and a retirement.
In fact the Cavallino stable, in Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, took second place with Sebastian Vettel while Kimi Raikkonen had to raise the white flag during the seventh lap due to an electrical problem.
Maurizio Arrivabene, Ferrari team principal, commenting on the Yas Marina race declared: “Today's result, with Sebastian's second place and the work of the whole team, allowed us to close the championship with our drivers in second and third position. Kimi in the race today would have deserved a different result, but the greeting that the boys gave him as he exited the pits was a wonderful moment".
