Sainz and Leclerc focused on data collection

Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz finished the first free practice session of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in second and third place respectively.
Forty laps. On a very dirty track, the main objective of the session was to be able to accumulate as many laps as possible. Charles and Carlos took to the track with Hard tires and then switched to the Soft compound in the central phase of the session and closed it again with the harder compound tires brought to this race by Pirelli. Both Leclerc and Sainz completed 20 laps, the fastest of which were 1'43"227 and 1'43"521 respectively.
Second session. The cars will return to the track at 16pm local time (14pm CET) for the second free practice session.
