F1 | Ecclestone: “The Vettel-Ferrari relationship has never worked”

In a chat given to the newspaper Sport Bild, Bernie Ecclestone spoke about the collaborative relationship between Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari, underlining how the German has never managed to adapt to the working conditions present in Maranello.

According to the British Manager, a person extremely close to the German, this lack of mutual trust led to the sensational divorce a few days ago and the promotion of Charles leclerc as the main "horse" for the 2021, 2022 and 2023 seasons.

“The relationship between Vettel and Ferrari never really worked,” said Bernie Ecclestone. “I never had the impression that they worked as a team. While Charles Leclerc showed off his qualities, Ferrari did not reaffirm its trust in Seb. This situation led to the divorce a few days ago."
